Fab Find Friday

What a whirlwind ride this World Series has been!  We are huge Texas Rangers supporters and have been on the edge of our seats this whole series, hoping and praying that the boys from Texas can get it done.  Tonight we will anxiously watch, it will be a high stress evening indeed!  Hopefully they will get it done and bring the World Series Trophy home to Arlington.  In honor of our beloved Rangers, my fab find of the week, are the sweetest crocheted baby janes from the Etsy shop Sweet Hearts and Soles.  They would be so precious on your littlest Rangers fan.  Of course I had to complete the outfit with some sweet basics from Baby Gap.  Perfect game day attire!

Halloween Treats

I always enjoy putting together holiday treats for my kids classmates and friends.  For Halloween this year I was inspired by these adorable treat tags designed by The Twinery.  Nicole always creates fresh and modern designs that appeal to both adults and children.  Also, do not forget to check out The Twinery Shop, where you can purchase eco-friendly twine available in any color under the sun.  I attached the sweet tags to celo bags filled with Halloween play-doh, a Rice Crispy Treat and a glow stick or bunch of bracelets and tied off with tulle ribbon.

Look what I got!

The first time I laid my eyes on these gorgeous pumpkins was when Erin over at The House of Turquoise was hosting a Plush Pumpkins giveaway a few weeks back.  Unfortunately, I was not the lucky recipient of those blue beauties but instantaneously began coveting a set.  I even went as far as to google velvet pumpkin DIYs.  Fortunately things did not have to go that far, as my MIL brought me back this insanely awesome purple pumpkin from her trip to Round Top last week.  Love affair at first sight.
