Balloons

Last week I received an e-mail from my sweet friend, Katie, asking about the DIY Geronimo balloons I made for Cade's first birthday party.  As I was writing back to her, I got to thinking about how the wave of the round balloon has catapulted balloon decor from blah to brilliant.  Round balloons have yet to hit the big party stores, but you can find them online and at smaller specialty party and printable boutiques.  Hope you are inspired to use round balloons at your next event!

A single balloon by the sign in table or gift table makes a quick statement.
Four 17 inch balloons side by side adds height to this monochromatic sweets table.
Attach string to the balloons at different lengths for interest.
A cluster of round balloons looks much more whimsical and elegant than a cluster of standard balloons.
Balloons and table numbers attached to low profile floral arrangements create a canopy effect in this outdoor setting.
Multi-colored ribbon and tassels make a statement, and a fun toy.  Creating DIY Geronimo balloons is surprisingly easy!
I love the whimsical look of this hot air balloon inspired centerpiece and think it would be just as lovely with a large round ballon weighted down by the flowers.
Beautiful use of the wedding colors in the Geronimo balloon tassels.
I love the balloons, paired with the papered boxes, and the chair covers.  How magical!
DIY Geronimo balloons make great centerpieces, and the candy anchors are sweet for this Bat Mitzvah.  Imagine them with coordinating florals, over the top beautiful!
