Haute Tots: Seattle Addition

To celebrate New Year's we took a trip up to Seattle and the Pacific Northwest to visit my family and see old friends.  Our trip was full of day trips and quiet nights at home enjoying delicious home cooked meals.   While we were visiting, I had the idea to start this new series.  I love to dress my kids.  I shop for them more than I shop for myself.  What is it about miniature clothes that is so darn cute.  Haute Tots was born to document some of the cuter outfits that have come around, hope you enjoy!

Jet Setting

My apologies for the very light blogging over the holiday break. I have been focusing on spending time with loved ones and enjoying being "unplugged".

Today we embark on a family adventure to the Pacific Northwest. I hope to share some snippets of our adventures as we explore the PNW in the winter. Follow me on twitter @thesimplyfab for updates!

Wishing you and yours a fun-filled, fabulous New Year!

The Tiffany cut engagement ring has become the number one choice for brides in the past 5 years.  Tiffany & Co. has become a status symbol and now, with the unveiling of the Tiffany Suite at the St. Regis New York, there is yet another way to have a little bit of Tiffany in your life.  The 1,400 square foot suite is located on the 14th floor and is adorned with crystal, grays, whites, and the signature blue.   At $8,500 plus tax a night, this would be a splurge, but if your sweetie is willing to treat you, why not?!

Here is a sneak peek at the gorg suit, as well as a few ways to can bring the signature Tiffany blue into your life.

{i wanna get away...to seattle}

Summer officially began on Tuesday, and I find myself facing yet another stretch of temperatures reaching above 100 degrees.  After enduring weeks of blazing heat I excited that our family will soon be escaping to the cooler Pacific Northwest climate.  The idea of vacationing during the summer has always appealed to me.  What a wonderful way to make memories with your family and lay down roots in other areas of the country.  Although Seattle is rainy most of the year, the summer in this great city can be truly wonderful.  Warm summer days and cool summer nights provide the perfect getaway for those of us living in the southern United States.  Growing up in Seattle, we always said that summer doesn't start until July 5th and lasts until mid to late September.   We head back to Texas on July 5th, so lets hope this one proves wrong this year!
